Nine years ago the world ended, and the long fought war against HYDRA was decided. Those remnants of a past earth still remember, they recall the death of their loved ones, the freedom they once enjoyed, and how their lives were stolen from them and enslaved. (An AU where Peter is just a normal super smart kid and Tony is just a rich genius technology dude and all the other Avengers have normal jobs and stuff) Andrew (Andy) King has finally had something go right for him. He got an internship at Stark Industries and even better he gets to work with a super cute guy named Peter Parker. Andy has a huge crush on Peter and the two become fast friends. There's just a few problems. Andy is still in the closet and Peter likes someone else. Andy struggles with his feelings for Peter, a homophobic and sometimes abusive dad, and his own feelings of hatred towards himself. Peter is a light in Andy's life but can Andy uphold the friendship even though he wants to be more than friends?

Loki wakes one day in the presence of an iron man and a wizard with absolute zero recollection of his life prior aside to the fact that his name is Loki and he is from Asgard. He's taken into the care of Tony and Stephan who, at Loki's request, allow him to attend a the same high school as his now adoptive brother, Harley. Able to win any girl he wants with his boyish charm, Loki finds himself intrigued by one Mikaela Parker who is irritated at best by his flirtation. Loki gathers as much information as possible on her to try to win her over, eventually figuring out a secret she would rather die than have anyone find out. When Loki confronts her, she's fearful at first and keeps him close to make sure he doesn't let it slip. She never thought something real would blossom between the two and isn't too sure how she feels about falling for this charming trickster. All she knows, is she really couldn't help it.

Loki finally has the throne he never wanted but does he have anything else? No. Thor has left, Odin has disappeared and Frigga is dead. Realising that being king isn't enough he decides to leave Asgard for good. The Avengers get concerned when a supposedly dead "villain" turns up unannounced in the centre of New York. Set directly after the events of Thor: the Dark World. AU where the events of Avengers: age of Ultron and Captain America: Civil War don't happen.
