Kuruhashi Minato, an average 17-year-old high school student, woke up to the sound of a robotic voice declaring, [Welcome to Sword Art Online]. Disoriented and confused, he found himself floating in an endless white void, a single notification hovering before his eyes: [Please Input Your Username]. Desperate to make sense of his situation, he tried to recall what had happened before he ended up here. But every time he got close to remembering something important, a sharp, searing pain shot through his head, forcing him to stop. Frustrated, he looked around the empty space, his mind racing. The only conclusion he could draw was that he was about to be transported into the world of Sword Art Online-a world he knew all too well from the anime and light novels. The absurdity of the situation almost made him laugh. Transported to another world? It was the kind of cliché plot he'd read about countless times, yet here he was, living it. But with no other options and nothing else to do in the empty void, he decided to embrace the absurdity. After all, if this was his reality now, he might as well dive in headfirst.
