The Way I Think, Unfiltered, is a combination of my poems that I write when I'm stuck, or too deep into myself to express it with actions. I thought that maybe you would like to read, get a better inside view into who I am as a writer and a person. Writing is the only way I can release my emotions, and maybe they will be able to help you feel more comfortable with all the emotions that us, as humans, feel on a daily. All his life, George has protected himself from everyone with a glass bubble. It was supposed to be impenetrable. Unbreakable. But when he meets Dream, a kid who just can't seem to leave George alone, cracks start to slowly appear in his bubble. What Dream doesn't realize, is the fact that he's breaking the only thing that's always protected George. "Are you lonely, George? I've never seen anyone talk to you." "I'm not lonely, no." "But loneliness is so terrifying. You don't have anyone to fall back on, to rely on. Everyone needs a friend." George gave out a pitiful chuckle, and Dream turned his head in George's direction at the noise he gave. "I'm not lonely. I just like living in solitude. Everyone leaves. They always do. But I can't ever leave myself, can't I? I'm bound to myself. I won't ever leave."

This is a small collection of emotional and dark poems that are very personal to me. For several years I struggled with many warring emotions and went through a pretty tough time. The only way I managed to escape such difficulties was to write them down however I saw fit. While many people believe that poems are supposed to flow effortlessly I feel that no matter the format, as long as they are wrote from the heart, then the beauty in the verse will come through. A choice is the desire of the heart. What we chose is either a lie or a truth. The peaceful days are slowly fading away only to be changed by a fast-approaching storm. Sophia is torn between the lie she is living in and the truth she has to face. Hidden behind every wall lies the truth she must find but Sophia will discover even greater lies that turn to be true enough to ruin everything.

They don't. Asher plays it cool-nonchalant, detached, unreadable-because he genuinely believed that's what girls liked. In reality, he's memorized Vivian like a problem he can't stop solving. Chocolate pastries because she mentioned them once. Vanilla lattes because he noticed her order. Vanilla candles because she smells like something he can't stop thinking about. Vivian notices. She just doesn't say anything. What starts as casual proximity turns into something harder to define-quiet routines, accidental intimacy, and feelings neither of them are equipped to handle without falling apart in different directions. And the worst part? They both think they're the one who isn't falling. ---

I don't like romance. I don't get crushes. I practically hate the male species. I don't believe in love. In fact, why don't we go CRUSH love? So where did this come from? Don't ask me.
