Reading was the only comfort I had in this life. I wasn't born lucky, nor was I born into a wealthy family. It didn't really matter, though, as I was surrounded by people who cared for me-- such as my parents and older brother. My parents always tried their best to provide for us and our dad often worked overtime at his low-paying job to afford little luxuries here and there. Of course, time isn't kind to anyone. As our parents grew older, my brother and I began working full-time to be able to provide for them as they had for us. Everything seemed to be going well, until my brother had to be hospitalized. All I wanted was to work to pay my brother's medical fees and sustain our family as we waited for him to wake up, but life isn't that easy. Somehow, I ended up in the novel I read during breaks at work or when I stayed by my brother's side as my parents slept. It was just supposed to be an escape from my shitty reality, so how the hell did I end up here?

Celia Selvini thought the hardest part of her senior year would be leaving home for college. But when her mother is killed in a sudden accident, her world shatters. Grief swallows everything-family dinners, late-night texts with her best friend, even the streets she's walked her whole life feel like they belong to someone else. Then there's Miles Hudson-her best friend's brother, the boy who always rolled his eyes at her, the boy she swore she'd never fall for. In the weeks after the funeral, Miles is the one who stays. He's the one holding her together when she can't breathe, when even her reflection feels like a stranger's. Against every rule she thought she had, they fall into something too real to ignore. But love doesn't erase grief-and it doesn't stop secrets from unraveling. Sylvia, her best friend, returns home with her own heartbreak. Miles makes a choice that could change everything between them. And Celia... Celia carries the one secret neither of them are ready for. Three people. Three confessions. One winter night that could break them-or bind them forever.

It's a short story about some one running from, well they don't know. They keep to what, they don't know. They are running to a wall and they don't know what's beyond. They're scared but they keep running until they cross the wall. It's left to interpretation as well so everyone can enjoy. Inspiration from attack on Titan and song ghost town by Chloe George. In tribute to the anime ending we won't see you until next year. ⚠️slight aot spoilers⚠️

This is a small collection of emotional and dark poems that are very personal to me. For several years I struggled with many warring emotions and went through a pretty tough time. The only way I managed to escape such difficulties was to write them down however I saw fit. While many people believe that poems are supposed to flow effortlessly I feel that no matter the format, as long as they are wrote from the heart, then the beauty in the verse will come through. Thank you for taking the time to read, ponder or question my works.

Avoiding someone can be difficult. Maybe avoiding is a better option than to stay with them. But sometimes, avoiding them is not enough for some people. They need to keep their distance away from someone. It hurts a lot. But it hurts too to be with someone who doesn't appreciate you.

I am currently "reading" a workbook or as the author calls it - a daily creative companion, and I am amused at the same time curious each time I turn the page. The book offers random topics for you to write/draw or ponder upon. One day it can talk about something as silly as learning to draw 3 square boxes, and the next day makes you think about success. Just like life, you may be caught off-guard with what the next day offers you. I can be exhilirating or depressing. Whatever that may be, it surely is unique to one's own being. Afterall, we write our own stories, don't we?
