。゚゚・。・゚゚。 ゚。 fracturing 10 - hugh biggs ゚・。・ Faith Feely and Hugh Biggs have grown up side by side. They've been there for every scraped knee, every bad decision, every moment that felt too big to carry alone. No matter what happened, they always found their way back to each other. For Hugh, Faith has always been a certainty in a world full of questions. But growing up changes people, and not always for the better. Whilst Hugh is only beginning to understand himself and the life he wants, Faith feels years ahead of everyone around her. Life has asked too much of her, too early. She learned how to survive when she should have been learning how to be young, and somewhere along the way she became someone who hides behind perfect smiles and cutting words. When the weight she's carrying finally becomes too much, Faith starts pushing people away; especially Hugh. He tells himself to give her space, to let her go through whatever she's facing on her own. But watching Faith disappear behind walls she refuses to explain is harder than he ever imagined. The further she drifts, the more determined he becomes to reach her, even if he doesn't know how. As the distance between them grows, Hugh becomes determined to help the girl he's always cared about. But fixing someone isn't the same as loving them, and the harder he tries to hold Faith together, the greater the risk that he'll be the one who finally fractures her beyond repair.

This is a new Ranchuu story, where Chuuya has an avoidant attachment style and struggles with an eating disorder, while Ranpo has an anxious attachment style. Ranpo and Chuuya love each other deeply. Of that there is no doubt. The problem was never a lack of feelings; it was all they carried with them. The wounds of the past clung to them like shadows, turning something as simple as love into a daily battle. Because while Ranpo felt butterflies in his stomach whenever Chuuya smiled at him or got too close, Chuuya felt flies. An uncomfortable buzzing under his skin that told him to back off before he got hurt. It wasn't that he didn't love Ranpo. He loved him, more than he would ever admit, even to himself. But he had grown up in a place where love was seen as a weakness, where trusting someone meant handing them a weapon that could be used against you. He learned that depending on others was dangerous and that vulnerability was an invitation to pain. So every time Ranpo tried to get closer, Chuuya pushed away. Every time Ranpo sought comfort, security, or simply wanted to hear the words "I love you," Chuuya built walls so high that even he couldn't see beyond them. And that hurt Ranpo. Because Ranpo needed closeness. He needed to know he was loved, that he wouldn't be abandoned, that Chuuya wouldn't suddenly disappear without explanation. However, the more Ranpo sought that security, the more trapped Chuuya felt. It became a vicious cycle neither of them knew how to break. Perhaps they would never be a normal couple.

"Fine, I'll admit it." "...then,I love you."

No Case on Mondays is a restrained, emotionally precise story about love, imbalance, and a lingering question: what are you willing to accept in order to stay?

To live in a religious family is to be told what's right- and yet, to feel the weight of every wrong they choose to ignore. Alexa Adrienne Vale grew up surrounded by faith but starved of warmth. She learned early that silence was safer than honesty, that love could be both a blessing and a wound. So she built walls. She pushed people away- not because she didn't want to be loved, but because she was terrified of being hurt again. And yet, in the quiet corners of her heart, she longed for someone to stay. Then came Jaden Caelum Rivera. Rebellious, charming, and everything her world warned her about. He wasn't perfect-but he saw her in ways no one ever did. He made her question everything she believed about love, and about herself. Somewhere between pain and peace, between faith and doubt, between two hearts afraid to meet halfway- there exists a kind of love worth fighting for. Because maybe the real story isn't about finding perfection... but finding someone who loves you through your scars.

Mía, a distracted yet brilliant 21 year old psychology student, chose avoidant attachment as the central focus of her thesis. Upon finishing it, the work was just that: a solid, theoretically grounded approach with clear potential-but lacking the human lived element needed to truly resonate, according to her thesis advisor. That is when her best friend Josh, a psychologist and therapist at an elite private school, tells her about a particular case: a charming yet emotionally distant boy who has left marks on more than one of the female students Josh has treated. Girls who felt chosen, then abandoned, without ever understanding what they had done wrong. Trying to help her grasp what her thesis was missing, Josh gives Mía a simple piece of advice: put yourself in their shoes. However, he didn't know that she would take those words literally, far beyond anything he intended.

This book is about wanting love without knowing how to ask for it. About reaching for others while fearing you are too much. About being treated gently only when you are quiet, and misunderstood the moment you start to hurt. This is a collection of pieces about avoidant hearts, unmet understanding, and the kind of love that arrives at the right time - just not when you need it most. Some of us don't want attention. We want to be understood.
