Eighteen year old Sophia adores her one year old son Avory. She makes sure that he has everything before she begins to worry about herself. But the one thing that Avory doesn't have that Sophia can do nothing about is a father. Avory's father ditched the scene when Sophia told him she was pregnant at the young age of sixteen. She went through eight months of pregnancy and a tiresome labor without him and feels she doesn't need him. So, when she moves to L.A, she is suprised when she finds out he attends the college she enrolls in. Suddenly, he's back in the picture and Sophia doesn't know what to do for Avory. Kick him out and leave Avory fatherless or take back the scumbag that left her to raise their child alone?

Kitana is a recent high school graduate with ex-boyfriend problems. She has a plan, though; after the summer ends she will move away for college, and will NOT return home until she has graduated. Avory is the Prince of Vampires and he detests all humans. His parents however order him to make young Kitana fall in love with him. They banish him, and he cannot return home with out the girl, and she must go willingly. Will Avory be able to accomplish his mission so that he can return home? What happens when Kitana's ex-boyfriend steps back into the picture? Will Avory's self righteous attitude, his arrogance, and rage get the best of him? What happens at the end of the summer?

In one quick motion, he kissed me and my legs were just about to give out. What was happening? Whatever happened to commitment to The Unit? Whatever happened to no physical contact between me and another unless professional? Now, I didn’t know what I was feeling. But I knew it was against the agency and against myself.

They've tried counseling, I've tried talking to them, MOM tried talking to them, but nothing will change. Ever since mom and dad had to move in, all dad does is cut Ethan down while Ethan accepts the daggers my dad keeps attacking him with. It's gotten to the point where Avory has tried to get into it, it's gotten to the point where dad has turned against mom and I. It's gotten to the point that I don't even see my dad as my dad anymore, all I know is that Ethan, Serena, and Avory need me to fix this before any damage is done and I'm sure as hell going to try.
