**Cover is years old and art is by me - working on redrawing it** Alderpaw struggles under the weight of being the descendant of the great leader Firestar, as well as the success of his sister Sparkpaw in their training. He is determined to prove himself and become a warrior, but Starclan seems to have a different idea for his destiny. While working to overcome his own anxieties, he begins receiving nightmares about a clan in danger and an ominous prophecy that chills his fur.

Squirrelflight and Bramblestar are the proud parents of their twin daughters, Sparkpaw and Alderpaw....or so they think. Alderpaw discovers over the course of time that he is a tom cat, and must struggle with whether or not he wants to make it known to the rest of the clan. Meanwhile, a strange new prophecy is delivered to Thunderclan, and Alderpaw is sent out on a journey to interpret it. ps, I'm ftm, so Alderpaw's experiences with also being ftm and his sexuality are based loosely on my own. This rewrite is very LGBT heavy so It's not really the place for you if you're not About ThatTM.
