At twenty-one, Ben lives in a world of precise lines and quiet patterns. He is non-verbal, autistic, and currently trapped in a physical nightmare. A rotting tooth has turned his jaw into a source of agonizing pain, but the help available is a different kind of torture. Traditional dentists are a storm of high-pitched kindness, invasive small talk, and chaotic waiting rooms. For Ben, the wait for a specialist sedation clinic is eighteen months long - time he doesn't have. Desperate, Deborah scours the internet for a suitable dentist for Ben. She reads reviews of every practice finding each one unhelpful. But then she finds Rose Avenue. Dr. Martin Vane. The reviews describe him as clinical, blunt, and eerily precise. They speak of a man who runs a silent clinic where efficiency is god and bedside manner is non-existent. He sounds perfect. He sounds like the only man Ben might actually let touch him. But when she takes the leap and travels to Rose Avenue, Deborah discovers that reputation and reality have begun to drift apart. The sanctuary she expected is under threat, and the clinical silence she was promised is being drowned out by a world that values pleasantries over precision. With Ben's pain reaching a breaking point, Deborah is forced to go beyond the local clinics and hunt for the Stone Man herself.

Amidst a happy and cheerful world, there are people who are crying for help behind the curtains. Their screams aren't heard, because they are no more than a whisper. But if even one whisper could be a little louder, just a little louder, it could silence millions. But the whisper remains to be a whisper. The silent screams are cut dead by the selfish who only care about themselves. The helpless remain helpless. People come, make fun of them, use them, and then shush them off. This isn't just about a few isolated incidents; it's about a systemic issue that needs attention. We must raise our voices, not just for ourselves but for those who can't be heard. It's time to shine a light on these hidden cries, to bring justice and support to the helpless. Together, we can create a world where everyone's voice matters, where no one is left behind or ignored. It's a call to action, a plea for empathy and action against the crimes committed against the voiceless among us. "Silent Screams" is a compilation of such stories. I will try my best to increase the awareness about such incidents which happen almost everyday. I hope you will support me! This is my original work so do not copy.

'The most prevalent question on my mind will always be "Whats the difference between being alive and living?"' -extract from chapter 1 (Noises) 'Yet one thing that has stunned me throughout it all is how alone I would feel in such a large place full of people.' -extract from chapter 3 (St.Edmunds) 'I slowly sink down onto the tiles, and I want nothing more than to scream. To let out all my pain, my anger, my emotions. But I can't. The consequences of such action scares me too much.' -extract from chapter 8 (A baby bird) _________________________________________ Hello all, I'm just letting you know that the basis of this book means a lot to me, and I hope that some of you can resonate with it, too. I aim to discuss topics that are often not talked about in an attempt to show people that they are not alone and that they don't need to feel so ever. Although I must also warn you that some chapters in this book may all of a sudden become a little to real and personal, but I do not aim to distress any of you so if you begin to feel overwhelmed please reach out either to those close to you, or even use the comments to vent. Overall, I hope you enjoy the book and connect with it just as much as I do when writing it. Also, please feel free to leave feedback and let me know what you think of it. But of course, please don't take my work and use it as your own. This book is, as I said, very meaningful, and it should not be tarnished in such a way.

Eyes Behind the Smile The Truth We Never Saw First Edition What if the most dangerous people weren't the ones who looked frightening... ...but the ones who smiled? In a quiet town where everyone seems familiar, a group of young friends begins noticing strange events that adults dismiss as imagination. A whispered warning. A classmate who suddenly changes. Secrets that no one wants to talk about. As reality begins to blur with fear, they discover that growing up means learning a difficult truth: not every danger announces itself. Eyes Behind the Smile is a coming-of-age psychological horror novel for readers ages 10-16 that blends mystery, suspense, and emotional storytelling into an unforgettable journey. Rather than relying on graphic violence, the story explores the fears that can exist in everyday life-hidden behind friendly faces, online conversations, school hallways, and the pressure to fit in. Along the way, readers will encounter themes of: - Trust and deception - Healthy and unhealthy friendships - Bullying and peer pressure - Online safety - Manipulation and grooming awareness - Listening to your instincts - Speaking up to trusted adults - Courage, resilience, and personal growth Every chapter invites readers to question what they see, think critically about the choices they make, and recognize that real strength comes from facing fear together. Perfect for fans of psychological mysteries and suspenseful coming-of-age adventures, Eyes Behind the Smile is more than a horror story-it's a story about growing wiser, protecting yourself and others, and discovering that the truth can be the most powerful light in the darkest places. Because sometimes... the scariest monsters are the ones hiding behind a smile.
