When Marcie, a new musician trying (and succeeding) to make a name for herself takes to social media to debut her newest album, she receives support from another musician whom she has declared her inspiration- Awsten Knight. They begin to aquaint themselves with one another over the internet, as they live states apart. As the COVID-19 pandemic begins, and they're forced into lockdown, what will happen to their careers, and potentially budding romance? Will it cause them to grow closer, or drift apart? An Awsten Knight fanfic. I apologize if anything happens to be inaccurate in terms of characters/personalities. I do not own any of the characters (except for Marcie and any others that I state are fictional.)

Jessie peters and Awsten knight have been best friends since they could walk and talk, they were at the point where they were near enough inseparable. The only thing that stood in their way was time and distance. Keeping them apart was time zones and distance. When Jessie was 8 years old her dad got promoted meaning they had to leave her home and best friend in another part of the world. Both Awsten and Jessie promised each other they would keep in contact but we all know how that ends; Awsten was the band icon candy for waterparks meaning he was always busy and soon ran out of time to spend bothering to call or text Jessie meaning their friendship ran to a sharp end. Jessie's mom, who is an actress is called back to L.A. For a film meaning Jessie would have to face Awsten at some point. Will their friendship ever be the same again? We all sure know the stories of what happens between friends when one of them gains feelings for the other. It goes up in smoke.

Awsten wakes up in the middle of a bad episode of sleep paralysis. Left feeling anxious and overwhelmed, he quickly realizes he cannot remember the details of the night before. He doesn't know why his friends slept over his house. He doesn't understand how all of his neighbors could suddenly vanish without a trace. He begins to doubt his sanity when he keeps seeing faces from the corner of his eye that look like the ones from his sleep paralysis hallucination. Is he losing it? Or is there something far more dark and sinister at work?

Rachel wakes up in her boyfriends house in the middle of the night having a panic attack. This is how just one night changed her whole life and left her unable to trust anyone.
