Awsten sat back at his desk, watching as a man with curly hair in pink paint stained overalls watched the awning go up. He wondered if the man owned the shop or if he was just in charge of the design of the small brick shop. He wondered what would go into the pale pink brick building.

Where a curly-haired brunet with a bad habit of picking at his acne meets a blue-haired boy in a group of friends.

High school senior Awsten Knight, an artist, is used to keeping secrets. Most of them are little ones, such as replacing his sisters beta fish with a new one so she wouldn't find out that it died. But he's also hiding one big personal truth: following an attempted suicide, he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Convinced that "appearances are everything," his mother insists that no one can know about Awsten's bipolar disorder, because it will tank his friendships and ruin his shot at both becoming Homecoming king and receiving scholarships to art school. But as Awsten juggles keeping his secret, a budding romance with sweet and disarming Otto, and his participation in a prestigious upcoming international art exhibition, he forgoes his medication: "I am not sick. Medications are for sick people," he asserts. As he struggles to be emotionally vulnerable-both with himself and Otto, things start to go very very wrong.

"I'm stupid for you, but you're playing ring-around-my-head." Where Awsten's photographer friend, Jawn, lets him tag along on a photography trip to LA. When they get there, Awsten meets one of Jawn's models, Geoff. He immediately falls for the boy, and in less than a day he starts flirting. Geoff plays 'hard-to-get', even though Awsten and Jawn will only be with him for seven days; a week.

An Awtto fanfic somewhat inspired by the We Need To Talk music video. TRIGGER WARNING. If you are affected by suicide, blood, or anything like that, please read with caution, or maybe perhaps skip the first chapter. I DO NOT MEAN ANYTHING IN AN OFFENSIVE WAY. I do not mean ANYTHING with malicious intent. I'm a fan of Waterparks, I just wrote this story for fun and wanted to share it with anyone willing to read. That said, have fun. Chapters may be short, due to the fact that I'm still in school and haven't got much time. Updates may not be constant. I usually only write when I'm in the mood.

obviously what the title says so I'm officially well past the point of cringe and I'm not one bit sorry. I love these too much I don't really like crazy drama like everyone cheating on everyone but I try to make it entertaining bands I will include: Waterparks Palaye Royale I DON'T KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME Fall Out Boy My Chemical Romance and maybe more in the process Also, they're all in their twenties for this and have legal jobs (and we're ignoring the age differences) (oh my god, it's going to be so cringy, I'm not sorry)

Awsten was supposed to do great things. Even after outliving four partners, they still said that Awsten would do great things. They stopped saying that when the werewolf boy showed up. The new boy, who couldn't even hold a crossbow, never mind loading and shooting one. Who doesn't know the difference between a nixie and a mermaid, who thinks he can kill a vampire with a clove of garlic, who doesn't know that 'Big Foot' is politically incorrect terminology, and who has stolen all of Awsten's glory just because he was stupid to be scared and just lucky enough to have a usable weapon at hand. Any other person, at any other time, would have been werewolf food in thirty seconds flat. awtto So, naturally, the Academy decides to partner them up.

Otto broke Awsten's heart. Awsten is with Geoff now. He's happier now. Geoff's a good guy. He cares about Awsten. Otto is just another heartbreaker. Follow Awsten as he finds out the truth about Otto and how he finds out maybe Geoff isn't as good as he seems. Nothing is ever what it seems is it?
