It was just a rumor. Everyone knew that. It was just a rumor that personifications of nations existed. Nevertheless, its existence had proven too close for comfort, and there was too much unknown to simply leave it. Thus, the personifications of the G-20 Nations had two options; to reveal, and face the public's wrath, or not to reveal, and wait for the secret to be untimely leaked, if it hadn't already been. It's not an easy decision, to publicly reveal the biggest secret in the world. And they knew it would have consequences. They figured the public wouldn't take it well. They expected the riots. They knew so much would have to change to accommodate their public presence. But what they could not have predicted is what a reveal would form, or what started the rumor in the first place. CONTENT WARNING: poor mental health, threats, panic attacks, descriptions of torture, major character death, general angst, idk man but it's gonna be dark *I do not own Hetalia, nor its characters. Fanfiction, AU. There are four pieces to this (each its own ship (Spamano, Gerita, USUK, Prucan)) and I would like to know which part you want continued. The winning piece will get its own story, apart from this intro. All fluff, I don't really do smut/lemons. ((I don't own the cover, just the stories. I am a writer, but at the moment I can't draw to save my life...))

Their powers of magical prowess, a necessary bond between the earth and their people, makes themselves absolutely vital in the up keeping and collective strength of their countries. Indeed, it was without question that every nation had magic--this was an unwritten rule, and a law every personification knew to be true. Except....no one had ever told America. XxxX Unlike the rest of the nations, Alfred doesn't have active magic. Because of this, the other nations are wary of attacking him. The real reason for this is actually because Alfred's magic is passive, and shows itself in different ways. They don't know what Alfred's magic is and they always try to uncover what it is. The other nations use everything from spies to sleepovers, and interrogation during world meetings but nothing they do is working. Alfred just thinks it's some role-playing game or joke and goes along with it, saying random powers and throwing everyone off. WARNING: A lot of swearing XxxX A/N Credits to Wild_Card_Writing for the prompt! They made a lot of good prompts that I would like to read. The original title for this one is Balance of Magic. p.s: I don't own the-totally unrelated-cover and I already downloaded it and am too lazy to find another one :p. Oh, and there will be swearing.
