The story picks up at the ending of A Year in the Life. Rory has tough choices to make. Will she strike out on her own or lean on Lorelei more than ever? Characters and places originated with the writers and creators of Gilmore Girls.

This is not a continuation of the story I like to think of it as a ending to the story that we never got but deserved . This is the ending that helped me get through the frustration I had with Gilmore girls A year in the life . I hope it helps you too Also I do NOT own these characters or show it is merely FAN FICTION . ITS PG-13 there will be some cursing and some questionable talk but pretty okay and clean nothing. Enjoy

What on earth happened after those last four fateful words on the Gilmore Girls revival? The possibilities are endless, and this is my take on it. You could say it represents what I desperately hope will happen if they ever make a second season of "A Year in the Life." Major spoilers for the revival. No smut, it's all totally PG. And of course, I do not own Gilmore Girls, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, or any of the characters in this story. This is fanfic, pure and simple. I don't know about you, but the ending of AYITL left me screaming at my TV and trying to figure out what those last words meant. Eventually, she decides to go back to school in hopes of opening up new doors in her career. She returns to Yale and runs into someone very important from her past. This story takes place 16 years after A Year In the Life. Emma is Rory's 16-year-old daughter, named primarily after her grandmother, Emily Gilmore. Rory is currently living with her daughter, Lorelai, and Luke. As of right now, Rory still hasn't told Logan that she had his child, and may never. However, this may change as Rory and Logan are forced to reunite at a Yale Alumni party...

After discovering she is pregnant, Rory moves back to Stars Hollow and has no idea how her life is going to turn out. Struggling with motherhood, she finds herself again dealing with old feelings for a love from the past while she tries to manage things with the father of her baby. The story is set right after the revival "Gilmore Girls - A Year in the Life"

Takes place nearly 19 years after the Gilmore Girls: AYITL. Rory has raised her son, Richard, with the help of her family. Richard desperately wants to know his father, Logan, who has no idea about his existence. Disclaimer: I do not own any of the characters from the GG universe. This is my version of events and have nothing to do with ASP!

Rory shocked Lorelai with a big announcement. She said, "Mom?" Lorelai responded, "Yeah?" To which Rory revealed, "I'm pregnant." That's it. Rory's pregnant, most likely with Logan as the father, and the circle of life continues for the Gilmore girls. I do not own any of the characters, all credits go to Amy Sherman-Palladino
