Picking up where the revival left off, we find Rory and Logan making their own way. They say there are two sides to every story. Chapters 1-35 are from Rory's POV. The half chapters are from Logan's POV. They are a one-for-one match to each Rory chapter. This story takes place after Rory tells her mom that she's pregnant in Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.

This story is meant for all of you, who still need closure after A Year in the Life. Rory Gilmore begins writing her book, leading to the realization that she had been broken in the past, and she was unable to recover from this pain. Rory definitely doesn't have her life together at the end of AYITL, but luckily she has lots of friends in Stars Hollow who are willing to help her get through her most difficult year yet...and one ex-boyfriend who seems more eager to help than most. This next chapter picks up right where 'A Year in the Life' left off: the day Rory breaks the news to Lorelei that she's pregnant. Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life ended with a killer cliffhanger. Here's my take on what happens next. FYI: Points of view will alternate between characters.

After experiencing moderate success with her book, Rory has pretty much kept to herself, feeling a little shut-off from the world of her friends. Her singleton lifestyle doesn't match well with their family lives. Emily Gilmore has the wild notion that her granddaughter, Rory, should start looking to settle down. She sets her up on blind dates hoping that one of them will stick. Finn has been living the bachelor lifestyle for far too long according to his parents. His mum pressures him to find a wife, wanting him to find the happiness that she and his father have together. He, too, finds himself in the cold as his friends all marry and start families of their own. What happens when their paths cross again? #GilmoreGirlsChristmasChallenge
