This story takes place 16 years after A Year In the Life. Emma is Rory's 16-year-old daughter, named primarily after her grandmother, Emily Gilmore. Rory is currently living with her daughter, Lorelai, and Luke. As of right now, Rory still hasn't told Logan that she had his child, and may never. However, this may change as Rory and Logan are forced to reunite at a Yale Alumni party...

I don't know about you, but the ending of AYITL left me screaming at my TV and trying to figure out what those last words meant. What on earth happened after those last four fateful words on the Gilmore Girls revival? The possibilities are endless, and this is my take on it. You could say it represents what I desperately hope will happen if they ever make a second season of "A Year in the Life." Major spoilers for the revival. No smut, it's all totally PG. This is the story of 52 weeks of my life (loosely based anyways). I am 20, a third-year university student studying Sociology and I work part-time at a big supermarket. I often struggle with mental health and managing stress and I am painfully introverted so socialising and friendships are something I often struggle with. There will be some personal discoveries throughout the year but who knows where we will end up but thats all of the fun right? Let's see where this wild ride of a year will take us.

After discovering she is pregnant, Rory moves back to Stars Hollow and has no idea how her life is going to turn out. Struggling with motherhood, she finds herself again dealing with old feelings for a love from the past while she tries to manage things with the father of her baby. The story is set right after the revival "Gilmore Girls - A Year in the Life"

Picking up where the revival left off, we find Rory and Logan making their own way. They say there are two sides to every story. Chapters 1-35 are from Rory's POV. The half chapters are from Logan's POV. They are a one-for-one match to each Rory chapter. Can read them together if you'd like, or you could choose to read them as two separate stories! :-) That's the fun with this one! Disclaimer: I do not own these characters.
