This is the prequel to More Than Just Butterflies and will eventually blend into MTJB with the focus of Matt Webb and Hayley Grey. It started with a wedding… I do not own Marianas Trench or any other songs, lyrics, movie quotes. The only thing that's mine is the plot.

High school best friends, Brooke and Josh, have a wonderful relationship. Hanging out everyday, side by side lockers, shares everything about themselves, and going strong for 13 years to boot. Well, Brooke has a secret. She's completely infatuated with Josh, and has been for 8 years. The only problem is that she's afraid of ruining their golden relationship, and is super shy. Of course something occurs, that rips them apart for 7 years. By then they've both changed. But have the tables turned when they re-unite? Will she fall for Josh's best friend instead? Or will she have to come to the greatest decision of her life? Love or Lust.

After spending time with the boys, she becomes more and more attracted to the lead singer, not just because of his looks which is an obvious bonus, but for his goofy awkward personality. Once she becomes closer with him, will it end up causing her secrets to unravel? And who will save Brandi from this broken mess that she's becoming before she fades away? Audrey is a classic girl who takes inspiration from the 50's and 60's; that's what catches Josh's attention. While they help their best friends prepare for their big day they can't help falling in love, but their relationship will be put to the test when Audrey finds something out.

This is a story about a girl in her twenties and how she finds love. And how hard it is to get though self harm and eating disorders. So it's a light trigger warning. It can also be an inspiriting piece as well. Depending on how you who read it see it. I'm a big Matt and Josh lover so i just HAD to write something with them in, So here it is, I hope people enjoy it. Also all the songs i refer to is real songs. So if you wan't to know what group or what song just throw away a message. Credits to the artists.
