! POTENTIALLY SLOW UPDATES ! . . We all know the story. Lord Ramachandra returned with Sitadevi from Mithila, along with his brothers and their wives. Shortly after, Maharaja Dasharatha resolved to coronate Sri Rama and take Vanaprastha himself. However, things didn't go exactly as planned. A Week To Coronation focuses keenly on the seven days before Lord Ramachandra's departure for the forest, as the title suggests. A storyline inspired by the original, yet containing its own unique additions and styles. DISCLAIMER- I classify this as neither a fanfiction nor a plain retelling. Consider it a mix of both. Allergic readers are advised to stay clear. Happy Reading :)

In the sacred heart of Ayodhya, a young woman steps into an ancient temple... and vanishes. What follows is a journey beyond time - where a forgotten soul is reborn in an age of warriors, oaths, and destiny. She remembers nothing of who she was - only the pull of a love written in the stars and sealed in blood. As war approaches and fate tightens its hold, their story becomes a whisper that outlives centuries - a love found across lifetimes, and lost to time itself. Even the gods whispered her name... This is where her story begins.

Nārāyana. The Lord of Sustenance. To sustain his universe, he has always done everything one could ever imagine. From incarnating as a complete wild boar, to living away from the love of his life to vanquish evil, Lakshmīkānta has always done everything to establish Dharma every time Adharma threatens to overpower it. Ananta. He's endless. He will remain one of the few constants even as the universe comes to an end. Hari's kathā is just as everlasting as him, evergreen in both emotion and meaning. As perpetual as him are his stories, never coming to an end, never ceasing to enrapture those who attempt to understand these tales brimming with a charm nothing else has. This is an attempt to encapsulate some moments from the stories of Vāsudeva in shorts that may succeed in giving the tiniest glimpse of Vaikunthanātha. This is my attempt at writing about Rāmachandra, whom I love and revere beyond what my words can explain. This is my humble attempt at bringing to life some of the moments from the evergreen stories of Mahāvishnu. ××× [The chapters showcase these undoubtedly divine characters with a touch of humanization, and while I will try my level best not to get too carried away with it, moving too far away from the original plot, some people might not be willing to see their deities humanized. In that case, I'll request you to skip this book. Thank you!] Cover credit: @Mochis4lifeq52627 <333

Vālmīki's Rāmāyaṇa inspired the stories in this collection to answer questions such as these: What would Rāma have thought about a monument to mark his janmabhūmi? Why did Rāma tell Bharata that the kingdom was Kaikeyī's bride-price? How did Hanumat get the idea that Rāvaṇa never abducted any unwilling or married woman before Sītā? Why did the luminous herbs disappear when Hanumat came for them? At what age were Rāma and Sītā exiled? Did Hanumat witness Dhānyamālinī or Mandodarī distracting Rāvaṇa from Sītā? How could Mahodara and Mahāpārśva return to battle after they were slain? The title is Saṃskṛta and means "Recognize Ayodhyā In The Wilderness," which was part of Sumitrā's advice to Lakṣmaṇa in Vālmīki's Rāmāyaṇa. The first six chapters are Drabbles of exactly 100 words, and the next eight chapters are Microtales of 15 words. Much later, I added another Drabble as the fifteenth chapter. Each story is based on Vālmīki's Rāmāyaṇa, and supported with citations from the text. Cover Credit: average-student of India Forums, using images from Chitra Ramayana by Balasaheb Pant Pratinidhi.

Ramayana It's not just a word but a world of it's own. War, pain, bloodshed, betrayal, wait of years, revenge, ego, dharma, agony and what not. Ramayan is always associated with these things. But ramayan is a bit more than that. It's base is LOVE But love doesn't grow in one day. It's a bud that takes years to bloom. We know about the flowers but not about the buds. Let's peep into the buds of Ramayan. Raghili is a combination of two words. Raghav and Maithili. Raghav are the descendants of raghu (the four princes of ayodhya) Maithili are the princess of Mithila. Raghili is the union of these souls, the budding of immature buds into graceful blooming flowers. Raghili is the journey of love. This is purely a work of fiction and not meant to hurt anyone's religious sentiments. I will take creative liberty. Hope you like my maiden work. 🏆 1st Runner up at The Ramayana Awards 🏆 2nd Runner up at The Self Made Awards 🏆 2nd Runner up at The Debonair Accord 🏆 2nd Runner up at The Jaya Awards 🏆Best Ramayana Plot at The Indian Mythology Awards 🏆2nd Runner Up at The MythoMagical Awards 🏆1st runner up at the Morpankh Awards 2.0
