Alyria enjoys her simple life in Velaris. In the City of Starlight she can forget the complex politics of the courts and courtiers and simply focus on her little bookshop bakery in the Rainbow. With the summer coming to an end and the Fall festival approaching the female finds herself visited by not one but two of the High Lords inner circle. The two Illyrians must enjoy her company for as much time as they spend in her store. But with her new visitors come new problems. The gates of Velaris are open to the six courts of the Fae kingdom, and secrets Alyria had long ago hidden away are threatening to resurface.
