Minaduki Kashou is the son of a long line of Japanese confection makers. He has moved out to open his own shop "La Soleil" as a patisserie. But upon moving out, hidden amongst his things were two of the catgirls that the family had been raising, Chocola and Vanilla. When he tried to send them back, they begged and pleaded to stay and lend him a hand in his bakery until he gave in, and now they've opened "La Soleil" together! With two catgirls who really, REALLY love their master, trying their very best and occasionally failing, a heartful comedy opens for business!

Ayaka is a vibrant edamame bean with a strong work ethic and desire to make the world a better place. She sees the world through large round glasses and is known for her rose petal pink kimono with lavender obi. Ayaka heard about a wonderful realm called Hilumia. All the edamame beans in her village talk about Hilumia and its green, fertile hills. The older edamame beans insisted that Hilumia was a myth, but Ayaka believed there was more to the story. Ayaka left her happy village to seek out Hilumia. Her friend Kioshi, a mellow purple bean from a nearby village, told her about a special Alley and a certain red bean that would help her find Hilumia.
