After witnessing the Sun Spirit punish Zuko and Azula, Team Avatar discovers something impossible in the ruins of the abandoned village-a mysterious dragon egg glowing crimson red and sapphire blue. Believing it to be the result of the Spirit's curse, Aang and his friends take the egg with them and place it beside Appa, hoping his warm fur will keep it safe through the cold night. But when the egg finally hatches, two tiny dragons emerge. One red. One blue. And neither remembers being Zuko or Azula. The first thing they see is Appa. The gentle Sky Bison who reluctantly keeps them warm quickly becomes something neither he nor Team Avatar expected... Driven by a fierce maternal instinct, Azula sacrifices her pride

When the Fire Lord believes that Azula helped her foolish brother, Zuko, and her lazy Uncle, Iroh, escape, she too has to flee the palace in order to survive. Follow Azula's journey as she learns suffering, gain and loss and most importantly, love and fights alongside Iroh and the White Lotus to take back Ba Sing Se. 3 years after the end of the series, Zuko brings Azula home. It isn't easy but with time, Azula is able to heal, and find family and friends.
