The characters belongs to the Nickelodeon's authors . This is going to be my first story in wattpad. This is also my first fanfiction . So please don't mind my grammatical errors . Ozai\ Ursa( Avatar the last Airbender) New ideas are encouraged. This is my opinion on Ozai & ursa's engagement. And how the marriage would have been. It has also been inspired by many writers. This story will show the formation of the black moon. An elite assassins group made of water, fire and earthbender. While revealing the advancements in the fire nation and showcasing the lore and history of waterbending and firebenders. As new potentials are realised.

Over 100 years ago, Azulon's younger sister, Princess Azami, disappeared while on a trip to visit the Earth Kingdom city of Ba Sing Se. Her entire ship vanished without a trace, and the fate of the young Princess was never determined. Until now. Present day; the Fire Nation is winning the war against the Earth Kingdom and the Water Tribes. The Avatar has finally returned, after a century in hiding, and with him comes someone the world had long believed dead. How will the the Princess react to a world at war, when she never even knew it happened? --- Book 1; Finished. Book 2; In progress. Note; My first fanfic so tbh expect at least some, if not a lot of cringe writing. I wholeheartedly welcome any criticism to help improve the writing or the narrative, just try and avoid outright bashing of the story if you can. This will largely follow the plot of ATLA, with probably only a little deviation in the main story. Don't expect a word-for-word repeat though, as I'll often want to add a twist to work within the narrative I'm trying to tell. Also worth noting that I am going to mess with the canon a LITTLE, just to help fit the context of the story. As with any and all ATLA fics, I solely own Azami and her character, everything else belongs to the original creators of ATLA. Oh and btw this is probably obvious to many people but the artwork does NOT belong to me, nor am I claiming it as such. The Fire Nation understands the need for a male heir to Crown Prince Iroh after the death of his son Lu Ten, yet they're far from thrilled with the choice being Prince Zuko, the son of the man who tried killing Fire Lord Azulon, forgetting the boy's father tried killing the young prince as he might be just as unhinged as not only his father but his own sister. Disclaimer - I don't own Avatar: The Last Airbender. This was written for Open Novella 2024 and is a giftfic for my friend Kelsey; it's also an alternative universe to my fanfic series To Lose or To Gain where the Fire Nation doesn't know how unhinged Ozai is and instead thinks he willingly gave his first-born son to his older brother. As for the prompt, I'm using prompt ninty-nine which resulted in this AU popping into my head, "The royal family needs a male heir to the throne, and they're willing to accept any boy, even if he's born to their least hinged relative."
