This takes place a few years later after they all graduated, Everyone has pursued their dreams and lived joyfully. When Kiyama Asuka led her team to Nationals and won she never anticipated any major changes. She expected that she would remain the captain, have a nice season, and bring her team to Nationals once more. I mean, after all, she is the "Ace of Spades". But when her mom accepts a better position at a new job, she moves back to her hometown in the Miyagi prefecture. And now she's stuck in Karasuno High, a school with a very lacking volleyball program. Things begin to look up when she joins the girls' volleyball and finds her place at Karasuno. Then something unexpected occurred.
