I woke from the dream with a harsh intake of air. I opened my eyes wide, and found Peter by my side looking down at me with a worried look. “You alright angel? Sounded like you had a bad dream.” Peter said as I sat up with a my hand to my head. “M-my father… He visited me in my dream… He asked again if I wanted to join him… I said no and-and.” I stammered, I could taste sour tears at the back of my throat. “Then what happened?” Peter said his expression got even more serious. I swallowed the up coming urge to cry down. “He said there would be a war when the red moon is at it’s highest, he said for me to be prepared.” I finally got it out, I suddenly broke uncontrollably in to tears as Peter embraced me. I cried softly in to his chest. “Why m-me? I didn’t want anything to happen to the people I care about especially y-you…” I said my grip on Peter’s shirt tightened. “Shh… It’s going to be alright.” Peter hushed me and rubbed my shoulder. He tilted my head up so my eyes met his. They where sparkling in the morning light that streamed through the peep in the shades. Peter took his hand wiped my tears away and he brushed his lips against mine they tasted like mint.
