A rebel cell stationed on the planet Er'Kit gives a local imperial squad hell day after day until the imperials finally find the threat in the cell and fight back.

This is a book that ties into Star Wars Legends (Expanded Universe). Starting at the same time as New Jedi Order: Vector Prime, it follows a squadron of pilots in New Republic Starfighter Command that fight through the Yuuzhan Vong War. Through their different struggles, we see the war from various perspectives. Inspiration from Aaron Allston and Michael Stackpole X-wing series.

As the rebel cell on Utapau continues to gain more allies and more victories against the empire they also gain a bigger target on their backs.

4 months after the events of season 1, Bat Squadron has finally bounced back from its defeat and heavy losses suffered on Trandosha and has decided to help out other cells and take the fight to the empire, but with more planning and patience. Old and new characters are welcomed this season with the looming threat of the Empire casting a shadow on everything there is to happen.

With the war against the Galactic Empire and the growing threat of the Rebellion, Bat Squadron finds themselves fighting for their lives in an all out war.
