Baahubali the magnum opus was larger than life. It was made so by the larger than life sets, story, direction and acting. Of course Baahubali, Bhallala Deva, Sivagaami, Devasena all remembers them. For me two characters stand out in the acting. Let me take them separately starting with Kattappa.

I wanted to write this story because Devasena's journey shouldn't end in bitterness ​We all remember the legendary roar of Amarendra Baahubali. We all wept at his final breath, hearing him say: "Take care of Amma." It's praised as the ultimate act of a son. ​But have we ever stopped to look at the woman standing in the shadow of that command? ​For a long time, I've felt that everyone forgot Devasena's true pain. She didn't just lose a husband; she lost her identity. On the very night she became a mother, she became a widow. While Amarendra died for the mother who betrayed him, he left behind a wife who had sacrificed her entire world for him.

The story of Avantika from Baahubali. Her journey from birth till she becomes the Queen of Mahismathi. Avantika is my favourite character from Baahubali and her journey is the closest to my heart.

I had written this long back, to be correct - April 9, 2018. The very thought of Baahubali 2 completing a year after it's successful release in 2017 on the same day made me pen down this. As usual, I shared with my gang of monsters haha, and they suggested me to publish in wattpad. But, the couch-potato that I am, almost dropped the idea of putting up across. It's when we came across a news and photographs of ' a thing ' ( which I have expressed towards the end of the ONE SHOT ) gave me a trigger to upload it here. Thank You to all dearest creative heads across wattpad who have taken their time to read and appreciate my previous One Shot!

Baahubali the 1000 crore collection movie has been the talk of even BBC. Many commented on the aspects of movie making, effects, acting etc I looked at the story. I am not in any position to comment on the great actors. THEY WERE AND ARE GREAT AND LEGENDS LIKE SATHYARAJ CANNOT BE EVALUATED BY ME. But as an avid reader and small time author let me evaluate the story and compare to the greatest story and epic ever Mahabharatha.... From a definite alignment to the great epic the twists that made this different by that genius Raja Mouli...

Mahabharatha is what I always compare every story to. The ultimate epic - the story to end all stories. So I did that with Baahubali also. Every character and events. Bijjala Deva the Dhritharashtra and Shakuni equivalent of Baahubali movies. Spite, complex, cunning, hatred, deceit and evil personified. The man who is responsible for creating another evil person - Bhalla. The hatred he has for his wife is what makes the character different from Dhritharashtra. The way he manipulates Kumara Verma and Kattappa is amazing The fate he suffers is different also

Stuck in a surreal time-warp in the jungle during a hunting trip, Amarendra Baahubali has a tryst with evil that will change the course of history and turn his life upside down.

Every time she sees him, she rejected him. It was always a big NO for her. This is his journey towards a YES from her.
