I, El'karJaruq, a Rhemulin admiral, hated Military Daex'Kriegg because his push, push, push led to one thousand four hundred seventy-three workers being not just injured; they were all killed by the Daex'Kriegg Madness. My initial anger gave way to simple loathing for Warrior Daex'Kriegg. However, because of Rhemulin Khollenar, Warrior Daex'Kriegg became simply dead to me.

Four people, the doppelgangers of the Four of The Isles, are introduced and soon become our four friends. We will also be introduced to what many would recognize as major EarthPrime sci-fi TV and movie wars and battles - and their aftermaths.

No Gardens of Eden exist anywhere on EarthPrime. Neither Quadrant One nor Quadrant Two has a Garden of Eden. Just as INTERPOL fights international crime on EarthPrime, the Quadrant One equivalent does the same. EarthPrime, TV series and movies, Babylon 5 had The Shadows. Indeed, although different in nature, not in purpose, there are Shadows in Quadrant One.

HeDar'Jin leader Ika'Tolen and Wy-Yuun leader Wy-YuunNine appeared and conversed with our four friends, Rhemulin vessel co-captains Trevahar and Zehnmaec, United Planets Delmar, Kro'Nez ambassador VorTuk, and Vholchan ambassador Tusparok. This might get interesting.

Ariende and Vrybrih attend a Big Four security meeting, where numerous nations call for missions, goals, and action steps to further the motto: Live and Let Live, Protect Lives and Preserve Cultures. Then, Ariende and Vrybrih embark on a journey that will take them to a place that will eventually influence many for decades.

After discovering a previously unknown M-Class planet, Ariende and Vrybrih finally arrive after some travel time and conversation and achieve geosynchronous orbit.

The novel started as a short story that was submitted to a writing contest (didn't win). It is very loosely based upon the Babylon 5 Universe (telepaths, shadows, plethora of different races, etc.). I still continued to think about the story and how it ended without a final resolution (though the story did have an ending, it left a lot of questions about the protagonist). Thanks to the obsession and compulsion I have with writing (it's a blessing and a curse) I decided to continue the story to final resolution. This is it. A race called the Chitoxan came from an unknown area of space and declared war on the races making up the Earth-Alliance. More technically advanced than the races they encounter, the overwhelming power of the shadow vessels results in most battles ending in complete defeat for the Earth-Alliance. Only by massing fire on an individual shadow vessel or, in extremely desperate situations, committing suicide with a ship's reactor overload, can a shadow vessel be defeated. Earth and Earth-alliance colonies are slowly being conquered and occupied by Chitoxa. The humans on these occupied colonies are enslaved and forced to serve the Chitoxan's every need. A young man volunteers for the Space Marines during the Chitoxan war. Upon induction, he discovers that he is 'blessed' with unique abilities. However, these abilities cause his life to be changed drastically and terribly. He is taken away and forced into a never-ending nightmare. After a quick and violent encounter between Earth and Chitoxa, another Earth fleet is beaten and is almost wiped out. The surviving ship gets a lucky shot at an attacking shadow vessel, slicing off one of its appendages. The pain and shock of the loss does something to the human controller of the battle crab....

Aboard a Rhemulin vessel heading for the newly discovered Class M planet, Amitae and Luseda express thanks to one another for the positive changes in their lives. Ambassadors and staff from Rhemulin, Vholchan, Kro'NeZ, and the United Planets begin asking their respective governments about the availability of spacecraft for upcoming journeys.

It was the year of fire, the year of destruction, the year we took back what was ours, it was a year of rebirth, a year of great sadness, and a year of joy, it was a new age, it was the end of history, and the name of the place, IS BABYLON 5

Disembarkation of numerous refugee groups from 'The Isles'. While EarthPrime's WWII evacuations did not win wars on EarthPrime, this evacuation might have won a few short-term and long-term victories for the new arrivals on Rhemulin Vholchan II. Time will tell if intelligence and hard work pay off in this society.
