An adaptation of the Kenyan fable Marwe of the Underworld mixed in with some Jamaican folk tales. Making characters out of names Jamaicans would recognise but otherwise would have no story about. Creating a 21st century folk tale. Using the contemporary art by Kelsey McSweeney to set the scene.

The Bride of Christ is not just any bride, she's God's bride, waiting for Him to come back, and telling her story while she waits. Poetry is her passion. She's not gonna give up and lose her faith in Him. There's a lot about herself she needs to change before He comes. And when He does come, the happily ever after will start for eternity.
