This side story is a spin-off from the main book, The Silent Prodigy, depicting the beginning of the friendship between Mitsukuni Kanae and Y/N Kaneko. Disclaimer: Kanae's mind is already in a complicated state, so his behavior towards Y/N could be interpreted as 'obsessively gay,' even though he has ZERO romantic feelings for them. But his actions towards Y/N are in stark contrast to his actual feelings. A/N: I was planning to finish this flashback spin off before posting, but I feel really bad for my readers, so I'll posting in chapters instead.

This project aimed to mold the greatest strikers in Japan, and with his strategic mind and ability to understand and execute game plans, the man was a natural fit. Along with his friend, the two joined the project, determined to prove themselves as the best of the best. But they doesn't know what will happen in the future.
