Unfortunately their lives took a Dark Turn when Ellyvan tragically Dies after the Fire Broke out in Jungle Junction killing almost all the Residents. Otis was left Heartbroken and Devastated about what it happened to Ellyvan and couldn't prank mrs beady and hang out with his Friends like he Always did and his Life was Broken, But when the Farmer's Niece named Katie arrives at the Barnyard to look after the Farm for the Whole Summer Otis was still Greving about his Partner's death, Will he Able to Move on after his Husband's death?.

Otis and Ellyvan have been dating Together for a while now but despite being in love with each other they can't Always be together because they are from completely Different Worlds.

After Ellyvan accidentally falls into the interdimensional portal that bungo made, he ends up in the place called Barnyard and meets Otis a male cow that some reason has udders despite being a male who has a huge crush and has big feelings for him and tries to confess his love to him but fails until later finds out that Ellyvan has also feelings for him and they end up falling in love with each other. But His friends (Especially black and white sheep dog named Duke) doesn't want Otis and Ellyvan to be together and does whatever in their hands to seperate them and Banish Ellyvan from the Barnyard forever.
