Every few years the country of Illea grants thirty five lucky girls the chance of a lifetime called The Selection. These young women are transported to temporarily live at the luxurious palace as they compete for the Prince's heart in order to become Illea's future Queen. Seventeen year old Vanessa Morita was never interested in anything relating to the royal family, much less The Selection. All she ever wanted was to become a professional dancer. That is until her family began having money problems and they weren't able to pay for her school's tuition. Suddenly she saw things in a new light and realized that the only way to make her dreams come true was to enter the selection. This story is based off The Selection and Backstage, I own neither of them.

Keaton school of the arts is were every artist dreams to go. The ones that got in now know that it's not a dream. Students struggle with a school and emotion.

Candy will finally go to the same school as her brother, Jacob McQueen, and meet a few friends that are just like her- well...almost like her. "shut up and drive now" miles lennox is a model at vogue. the type of model who everyone has fantasied about them at least once. he's everywhere. he's on every billboard and every magazine to be seen. he was perfect. too perfect if you will. jax was envious to say the least. as he was the type of guy who has nothing to show for his life about from his low self-esteem and his drinking problem so when miles turned up at jaxs car tears streaming down his face and rain entangled within his hair jax was confused to say the least. but maybe there was more to miles? maybe he wasn't so perfect? cover cred to the wonderful @glowingrowan

At the beginning of the year Vanessa Morita thought things would run smoothly, after all she had recovered from an injury not to long ago. What else could possibly happen? A lot. Now it's the end of the year and she has discovered that things didn't go as planned. These are her thoughts on her sophomore year at Keaton.
