Just your regular daminette with my own little twist. Marinette has had it. Life was out to get her. If Paris really was the City of Love, maybe life would have been different. Maybe a change of place really was necessary.

In most stories the akuma class get a class trip to Gotham and meet the Wayne's and Jon. The akuma class will still get a class trip to Gotham, but not before getting a special presentation from the Kent family. Clark, Lois, and Jon heard about what's been going on at their daughters school from Tom and Sabine who had just found out from Anne Marie about the Lila situation. Tom and Sabine also inform them about the akuma situation and the Anne Marie is both Ladybug and the new Guardian of the Miracle Box. Yes they know, Anne Marie told them everything.

Marinettte Dupen-Chang wasn't happy. The opposite was true, in fact. Had been for the last three years. Had no friends, parents didn't care. So when a tiny black cat asking for cheese showed up, she was quick to move on. What surprised her was when it started giving her emotional support.

Marinette is a human with Phoenix powers. When it is time she can set herself aflame and turn to ashes, only to rise from those ashes stronger and more beautiful than ever. She is also a Princess. Though, her kingdom isn't your typical kingdom. It's a magical place where other humans have powers too. Her parents wanted her to live a normal life before taking the thrown, so they sent her to live with one of her aunt and uncle's on her mother's side, the aunt and uncle being Sabine and Tom. Marinette goes by the alias Marinette Dupain Cheng but her real name is Maria Cyra Diancie. The kwami's do exist in this and Marinette is still Ladybug in this.

There's a Pen pal program going on at Dupont between Dupont, Gotham Academy, and Evergreen School of Arts in London. Lady Luck decides to gift Marinette with some big luck and gives her two Pen pals. Damian Wayne and Felix Graham De Vanily. Though at the time these three don't see their situation as luck, but later on begin to like their situation on being stuck with each other as Pen pals. And let's not forget the social climber that Lila loves to be is in the fray of things.

Marinette Dupain-Cheng is your typical 16 year old girl: has a loving family, friends in school, good grades, and has two careers, and is the daughter of Paris's two famous bakers. At least, that's what everyone sees on the outside. On the inside, behind the closed doors of the bakery and her life. In reality, she gets abused by her parents. The only friends she has is the mayor of Paris's daughter, a DJ, and an athlete, a singer/guitarist, and a fencer. Mari is Ladybug and the Grand Guardian, defeator of Shadowmoth and Cat Noir. And on top of that, Mari is broken, thanks to her parents and Lila. So when she wins a trip to Gotham for 3 months for her class and meets Jason Todd, what will happen when Lila finally goes too far and makes Marinette finally snap? Basically a story about the quiet kid having enough except she ain't no quiet kid and while she ended them, it was their future that got destroyed.
