Friday night. Shots. A game. Handcuffs. Matt Cooper. And me. At one hell of a feverish party, Matt Cooper and Thea Young find themselves handcuffed together as a result of a trending dare. Scrambling after the one who has locked them together, the night leads the two to the farthest corners of their city in search of freedom. Thea, or Teddy, tells the adventures of the night through her perspective, even if she experiences it much through the life of her new friend. Because of the strange circumstances that have brought them together, a bond of friendship and a little something more blossoms as the hours drone on and their tireless search continues. Through the beautiful and the terrifying, the eerie and the odd, and even through the filth and the grime and the messed up lives of the people in their city, they are able to witness a world different from the one they are ever so tired of seeing, by merely looking at it through the other's eyes. Please do not copy my story and ideas. I will be forced to hunt you down. And kill you. Using my connections with the Russian mob. Those connections sadly consist of my brother, my friend's cat, and a fictional video game character, but still, they'll come for you. JK.
