"The Terrorizing" recounts a chilling, semi-lucid nightmare experienced by the narrator, Rad. The story begins in a dream where Rad is at a friend's house with his two best friends, Leo, who is asleep, and Silas, who is awake. After being spooked by a dark hallway, Rad decides to stay in the room, but Silas suddenly vanishes. A groggy Leo adds to the terror by claiming Silas was "never been here." This unsettling event triggers a frightening loop where the dream blurs with reality. Rad jolts awake, only to fall back asleep instantly and be confronted by Silas's face. This happens again, with Silas's silhouette looming over him in the dream. The climax occurs when Rad wakes up for the final time, but the terrifying "effect" follows him. He experiences a sleep paralysis-like event, feeling a presence trying to "win over his body," which he must actively fight off. Shaken but thrilled by the hyper-realistic horror, Rad decides to write down the entire experience.
