J'ai eu envie d'écrire comment la protagoniste Umber s'est retrouvé dans le pétrin où elle sera. Résumé: Umber est une jeune adolescente comme les autres, ou presque. Depuis qu'elle est entrée à l'école, étant timide de nature, elle se faisait au début taquiner puis harcelé. Se faisant, elle se réfugiait dans un monde qui lui appartenait, mais que personne n'arrivait à comprendre. Pas même sa famille ! S'inquiétant du comportement de leur fille, les parents ont tout fait pour l'aider avec sa petite sœur. La jeune femme savait que ses parents voulaient juste aider, mais pour elle le problème ne faisait qu'empirer et ce n'était pas question de révéler les raisons d'un comportement si agressif envers eux. Elle appréciait leur effort, leur aide, leur amour envers elle, mais cela ne servait à rien. Son esprit était déjà en train de vagabonder dans les moindres recoins de sa tête.
