This is a poetry collection inspired by circus acts written by me, S. eM Star. Each poem is based on a different act from the circus, but as the poem goes on, they take a drastic turn. These poems use various acts from the circus as a symbolic metaphor of negative experiences that people go through all the time in real life (being ridiculed, being underappreciated, being used, having rumors and lies spread about you, etc)

It's not like Mallory was born with such misfortune, to be frank, she was born with a silver spoon. However, it was the unfortunate events that started occurring during Mallory's third year of high school. Mallory always spoiled her two "best friends" by treating them to expensive things and meals. However, little did she know that she was being used just for her money. Mallory's family business went bankrupt one day and they had to change their lifestyle. Was losing every penny they had really a misfortune? Or was it actually a fortune in disguise?

This is a TRUE story about the circumstances that made me realize two of my close friends were never really friends at all. I lost two very close "friends" for what I believe to be the last time for both of them. They will forgive me one day but I don't think I'll ever forgive them.
