In this retelling of Naughty Dog and HBO's The Last of Us, this story takes place twenty years after a pandemic caused by the Cordyceps fungal infection has caused society to collapse. Badger, a smuggler is tasked with escorting the teenage Panda through a post apocalyptic United States. Title inspired by lyrics from Everlong by Foo Fighters. I'm a first time writer and I have dyslexia. This story is made without AI except minor spelling checks. Every word written on these pages were typed out by my own fingers. Julien-Clément de Mirabel is heavily inspired by furry character Edgar Doré Goupil by Tatujapa. They are both blonde foxes with long hair, play the violin, and are french noblemen. For the rest they are fundamentally different characters. If you want to search up art from Tatujapa and you are under 18, be warned that she does make explicit art. And for the record: I am not a furry. I just think writing anthropomorphic characters would make my story much more unique and memorable.
