It is the year of 7015, 3000 years after the Great Freeze. Society managed to rebuild themselves into a future-looking, solution-seeking world called Forever. Forever is divided up into groups based on personality, which determines their future. Alice is one of those to take the test to decide. She finds herself not belonging to either one of the categories due to a terrible mistake so she is banished to the Outdoors, condemned to spend life with a group of people she never knew existed called the Nevers. At first, Alice doesn't fit in well with the Nevers, but eventually, she learns their tactics, ways, and becomes stronger while making friends on the way. For a while, she is actually quite content in the Outdoors. But it doesn't last for long. A threat grows as more parts of Forever are going through a brittle freeze. Everyone can't help but wonder: is the Freeze spreading? And their problems don't end there. When the all powerful Guide (government of Forever) decide to extinguish the people of the Outdoors, Alice must choose a side whether it be her family and the boy she'd loved for so long or her friends and what she believes in. Question is: Who will she chose? NOTE: This story is clean of sexual content (only kissing!), and fighting is included, but discreetly detailed (nothing too crazy), language- mild-hot (swearing & few obscenities, which are curse words), but it's PG-13 so yeah.

The first step to finding a solution to a problem is identifying the problem and it's source. This book is written to shine light on the problems of the girl child in Nigeria especially in the Northern part of the country. Many of us know that these things are happening, but we don't know the extent of it.

I've been kidnapped, adopted multiple times, and I've promised myself not to get to attached. Wits over Reflex. Where do I belong? I don't know. But what I do know, is that I've gotta live to see it. For the society, for the better good? I wish I would admit to being that honorable. I'm selfish. I want to get out of here. I want freedom. I want to avenge my mother. A dystopian story/murder mystery. I dunno........... I'm not very good at writing descriptions. I really don't know where this is going to go. It will for sure be a dystopian type book. A Black Winter seized the land. Now, many years later, the city has recovered. In fact, it is perfect. Uniform streets, identical houses, rigid rules. Everyone is happy, their emotions numbed by pills and their safety held in the palms of those in charge. Mavis is sick of safe. Freedom is all she longs for, deep-rooted in a promise she made years ago. However, after a failed escape attempt, she is banished from Zeia and sent to work in the 'Wastelands', a place of labour and despair. All seems impossible, but she makes the choice to keep striving for freedom. Whatever it takes. Cyrus doesn't care all that much for freedom. Cursed with a heart disease he can't treat for fear of being marked as 'imperfect', all he desires is to keep his younger sister, Alice, (who is much sicker than him) safe. He works in the city's guard, forced into the position by his power-hungry father. His only motivation is the payments he is given by the man, medication that always goes straight to his sister. Now, a year later, Cyrus navigates his position, peace feeling more and more faraway with each day. One night, he catches a girl trying to escape from the city and as a reward, he and his team are given an daunting opportunity. One he finds he cannot refuse.
