In a time filled with old rituals and eerie traditions, Isha and her friend Thana arrive in Anukhetara, only to find themselves trapped in a disturbing reality where no one dreams, and the Akasha Terminal, a device forced upon them, appears to possess an evil power. As the mysterious Samhain festival approaches, they get caught in a series of strange meetings, unnerving déjà vu, and disguised figures who cover more than just their identities. Desperate to escape the city's terrifying grasp, Isha uncovers an awful reality that could consume them both. In a story of suspense and unsettling revelations, she must face a nightmare in which each step could be her last. -- This one-shot is inspired by one of Sumeru's main quests from genshin impact. Initially a school project created for Halloween, I chose to upload it here in the hopes that you may appreciate it as well. In the final paragraph, I used enhypen's lyrics from their song 'outro : cross the line', all credit goes to them.

Originally this story was going to be titled "Bad Idea, Right?" like the Olivia Rodrigo song because it is inspired by the song, but I don't think Ms. Rodrigo would be very happy about me using her song title, so "Seeing You Tonight" it is. This story is based on one of my exes and the dynamic we have together even after the relationship. This is set in the 2000s, hence why Carmen and Jasper communicate via MySpace and Skype, and although it's not explicitly stated in the story, Carmen is a cis lesbian (she identified as bi when she and Jasper were together and before realizing she didn't like men) and Jasper is transmasc and bi.
