Decían que el tiempo lo curaba todo. Mentían como bellacos. Insolentes es lo que eran. Cuando las historias de amor verdadero no son reales y desde luego que curar un corazón roto, no es lo que hacen. Cuando te crees capaz de volver y recuperar lo que te pertenece pero está claro que esto es la realidad y no un burdo teatro comercial como las actuales películas románticas que aparecen en la tele y ya ni que hablar de las que echan en San Valentín. Cuando decides seguir tu camino sin todos y cada uno de los errores que has cometido y sobretodo enfrentarlos y no huir de ellos. En esos momentos de mi vida apareciste para recordarme que por mucho que crea que puedo enfrentarlo todo y solucionarlo, no puedo. Mentías, lo sabía. Creías que no lo veía, también pensaste que te engañaba y lo hacía, lo triste es que vivíamos una mentira. Me fui, lo sé por eso te escribo estas memorias. A tí, por todas tus luces y también tus sombras.

Her dad's job is uncertain, her grandmother is dying from cancer, and she's promised her parents she's not going to do street art anymore ... ______________________ 2020 rewrite: 'Repeat After Me' was originally a story about Ivy and Asten, but when COVID hit, I thought what a fascinating time it would be for two street artists to have the city to themselves. So, while Melbourne was in lockdown, I began rewriting 'Repeat After Me', setting it in early COVID times, writing in real time, as events were unfolding.

What is love? Should it burn like this? Should it hurt me this much? For me love was always a diease that could never be cured. Or maybe I just haven't found the cure. It doesn't matter any more though, I've already given up on love and nothing will ever change my mind.
