Mike, Will, Dustin and Lucas are often at the Wheelers playing Dungeons and Dragons, Max at the arcade (occasionally at the Wheelers) and Jane learning words through the television. Hopper explained to the boys and Max that Jane was allowed to see them, whenever they wanted, but there was a rule. Contact and approval first. Those authorised to give approval were Hopper, Joyce, Johnathon, Nancy and of course the one and only babysitter, Steve. One of these five are to be within five hundred metres of the kids when visiting or seeing Jane, but privacy is given. Mike visits as often as he's allowed, everyone knows that they are both more than friends. Max is the other who visits regularly. She thought that her and Jane could be best friends, but isn't sure.
