She did had a little brother but he died from a heart disease and would spent time at his grave. But 1 day, she found a little bunny who had a collar around her neck. She knew it wasn't a wild animal and decided to take care of it. But Alyssa doesn't want her mother finding out she is taking care of a bunny. A short-story I wrote for English class. Our assignment was to read a selection of short stories and then write our own based on one of them. The story I decided to base mine upon is called "Like Mother, Like Son" and is written by Pauline Cartledge. To understand my short story it's pretty important to have read her's so I included it as the first chapter. Luckily it's a mini-saga of only 50 words so it doesn't take long to read.
