After finally running away, he moves in with Mei Hatume, becoming her pseudo-brother, and goes to UA in spite of his past mis-comings. A boy who grew up under a loving family with a powerful (but dangerous) quirk and aspirations to become the top hero. Good grades and lots of friends, anyone could see Katsuki had the best life. However, Izuku Midoriya was always the main problem on his mind. Katsuki's quirkless friend had a sharp tongue, foul mouth, and anger issues that lead to nothing but trouble and bullies. Despite his pleading with Izuku to not try for UA and to instead take a safer and more reasonable life style, Izuku has ignored him and further isolated their dying friendship. Katsuki wants nothing more than to go back to the days where he and Izuku were best friends. But Izuku wants nothing more than to kick ass and move foreword on the path of a hero. Izuku midoriya is abused for being quirkless from the age 4-12 when he was in a villain attack and found out to be not so quirkless the day after Keigo Takami (Hawks) saved him. Izuku now has to deal with past trauma, his brothers villain friends (that aren't that villainess), and making friends at the school of his dreams UA.

When Izuku and Izumi were young they were excited to get their quirks and be heroes together. When their quirks never came in life started to get worse. Their parents didn't change all that much in the beginning besides getting more protective of them to the point where they treated them like glass. Their "friends" Katsuki and Katsumi started bullying them. When they came back with bruises their parents never question it, as if it was to be expected. Worthless and fragile, that's all they were ever seen as. They so desperately wanted to be seen as anything other than their quirkless status that they devoted themselves to ensuring it. They learned and learned hoping people would notice their intelligence but no one ever did. All they cared about was quirks. Well if that's all people care about then that's what we'll get. They spent the following years studying genetics and quirk science, all in the effort of making their own quirks. It was a lot of trial and effort. Many times they wanted to give up. Eventually, with a lot of hard work and effort, they succeeded. But sadly they were not the same people they were when they began. One does not discover the impossible without... compromises.
