Kristi is a superhero. And while that makes for some interesting afterschool activities, it also means strange things tend to come to her. That's the case when a trip to the movie theater abruptly ends with someone puking an unknown substance. Kristi and her friends discover that the man is from a Texas town quarantined by the government. What's happening within the quarantine site--people getting sick and unprecedented rapid plant growth--matches the last time a species of plant-like aliens made contact with humans. An urgent mission becomes more urgent when the mysterious illness comes to Kristi's doorstep. Can she and her friends find a cure? Before it's too late?
