A touching GO/weiqi story about Chinese-American boy named Dawei, who happens to have mental problems with stress and being over critical of himself, receives a letter from his school one day, stating that his parents should attend a meeting on his behavior. In exchange for his parents not wishing to attend this meeting, Dawei must spend nearly every single day after school visiting his grandfather(waigong) in hopes that his behavior shall improve. As the two continue speaking towards one another, Dawei eventually learns more about the game of weiqi and how there's more to it than just simply placing stones on a board and winning.
