Carwen, the second-born elf daughter of Galadriel and Celeborn, is a ranger who is part of Thorin Oakenshield's quest with a wizard, dwarves, and one hobbit. Together with all the participants of the expedition, they will go to Erebor and meet elves, skin-changers and others on the way. They will find new friends and enemies. They will see good and evil and fight it.

They twinkle and dance and sing as they ride on the wind or play in the trees. Others--the ones I know he's REALLY after--are not so friendly. At least, that's what the elders say and what the whispers around town are saying. Why can't he just hunt rabbits, like a normal Lightfoot?
