This story is also a continuation of another story created by an author known as Sel with their permission. This story takes place between the events of Tall Tails: Book 1 and Tall Tails: Book 2 and is meant to be a prologue of sorts. This is also an entry for one of the contests for my discord server. Tamaki is a ninja that has the possession of the evil Nekomata. Nekomata was a cat that had a spilt tail. It is a Japanese myth and Nekomata (Bakeneko) are made to slay humankind and eat their flesh. However, Tamaki knows what's right and wrong. She has also been passed down to have the Two Tails, Matatabi. As her aunty died, Yugito Nii, Tamaki is the last pure blood of the Nii Caln. Sometimes, she cannot control her powers she gained and gets overpowered by hate and evil. Kiba was a lonely man that bumped into Tamaki's life and changed it. Tamaki was always a serious one, the deadly one, the only ninja who would be independent but things have changed....

Leon is a sixteen year old spanish boy with a very weird problem: his family has been cursed for centuries, and he's the only one who's able to break it. The problem is... he's the unluckiest, powerless and least fit for the job. To top it all, he'll face with countless threats, ranging from paranormal entities to urban legends and all that encompasses the unknown.
