Then my life took an unexpected turn. The impossible happened. I didn't have a match. With no one to be matched with, I was turned in to the king to be experimented on. With the threat of death over my head, I promised myself I would find other people that had no match and protect them from what I had gone through. That's when I met James. He came from a place where people didn't have timers to find them a match. We set out on a mission together to help unmatched people find refuge, until James got kidnapped. The only way to get him out was a ransom: I had to give all of the safe houses locations to the government so they could do more experiments. I had two options: turn innocent people in, or let James die. The fate of hundreds of people was in my hands, and I didn't want it.
