my first time writing real horror! I don't wanna spoil it especially because it's short, but it's mainly ball pit. I don't think many people will read this, but I hope you enjoy nonetheless! real ones will know that the first couple paragraphs are a rewrite of something else I've written. anyways! it's short, spooky, non-lineiar, and somewhat unreliable narrator I think.

It's a boring and dying town, people leaving from how run down it is. Sty, a thirteen years old, agrees with the people leaving: This place sucks! Their parents both have jobs, their dad with a part time job so he can stay at home sometimes to watch over Sty. Their mother worked as a nurse with 12 hour shifts and rarely got a break, but still had time to say good morning on school mornings before leaving. School was close to being out now though, a good long summer break. Corbyn, a ten year old boy, is sucked to the bottom of a ball pit. He never expected the bottom of a ball pit to be like it was. The bottom of this ball pit, and all ball pits and foam block pits, is a space for the apocalypse. This space had secret projects the government was working on and everything Corbyn needed to survive. Soon after he discovers this, he meets a girl his age named Farah sucked in from a foam block pit. The two have to learn life without knowing the time ever. They failed in trying to escape, only to figure out how to add more people to the apocalyptic chamber. They eventually start a civilization. Even with the founding of this new civilization, everyone wants to get out, including Corbyn. Will they ever find a way to escape? If so, what will happen?
