Haruki Sagae had finally reached the point where she was truly starting to become in debt. After Black Class had ended she had been trying to do community college and work at the same time but somewhere along the tracks her family was led into a family crisis with their mother needing much more serious care. Haruki started to become determined to make sure she could get the money. She looked for jobs in the newspapers, did multiple interviews, and even tried to do assassin jobs, all though she quit for a decent amount of time for schooling. After all hope was lost the reunion of the Black Class made her bump into her old roommate. Isuke Inukai. The two didn't have a fairly good relationship,however Haruki felt as if that was her only hope.

Banba tetap melangkahkan kakinya dengan ringan. Menuju ke kantor, sekaligus rumah untuknya. Begitu ia membuka pintu. Seseorang, lebih tepatnya gadis cantik dengan rambut pirang panjang dan tatapan tajam sedang menonton tv. "Jadi... siapa anda?" Banba bertanya. Ia masih berdiri di ambang pintu. Memperhatikan gadis cantik yang tidak ia kenali. Gadis itu menoleh. Sangat rupawan, Banba memuji dalam hati. "Pembunuh bayaran. Seseorang membayarku untuk membunuhmu." Ucap gadis itu. Tatapan tajam dan dingin itu adalah seorang pembunuh bayaran. Banba terkejut. Matanya melebar menatap gadis itu.

Segunda temporada de Vida, muerte o amor, también puede verse como una historia independiente. Lin y Banba disfrutan de su vida y relación actual, pero los problemas del pasado vienen para poner en duda los ya aceptados sentimientos. Las cosas no podrían ser tan fáciles como lo parecían... Un antiguo amor, traición, un mundo de sicarios. Nadie metido en ese mundo puede tener una muerte decente.
