This is the story of my experience in band with my two trumpets. Oh, this is probably really awkward random stranger. My name is Audrey and I am a ninth grade trumpet player... Lets let the stories flow!!!

Ten years after they first met, Elena finds out Will is going to be married. She finds herself as one of his groomsmen and can't shake the feeling that something is off between them. Then she wakes up the morning of his wedding and finds a voicemail from him at three in the morning. Is it just a reminder of when to be at the church? Or is it something she's secretly waited ten years to hear. It forces her to retrace their decade long shared path that led them to this day, trying to figure out if she should risk everything to tell him how she feels.

Imagine your the biggest dork in school. You have 3rd period with the hottest guy in school. His name is Joseph. All of a sudden you start falling for him but you don't want to. You know you're gonna get heartbroken, but you can't help it. What do you do? Get him jealous of course

I myself am a tenor saxophone player in my high school's marching band. I have actually used most of these on other people. Some do work better than others, but that might be just because I'm a girl.

Just when Delilah thinks she has no chance with her handsome crush, Alton, things take a turn for the best. Delilah and Alton share adventures no normal high schoolers would dream of experiencing.

The most cliché situation I could possibly be put in? I'd probably be at the movies completely overdressed because my parents thought I was going on a date and then Hadrien Syms shows up and professes his secret love for movies, and then we go in and watch a reshowing of the Titanic and sob our eyes out while holding each other. Of course, that's never going to happen. Why? 1) My parents don't want me to go to a school dance. They'd much rather prefer I stay home and study. "Harvard-bound students don't have a need for lame dances," they'd tell me. And then I would have to correct them that I want to go to MIT, not Harvard. They're both Berkeley graduates, and apparently they think all the Ivy Leagues are the same and overrated. And that MIT is part of the Ivy League. It's not. 2) Do I even own an article of clothing that could qualify as "overdressing"? I wear dresses all the time, but they're usually from the junior section of Kohl's or Macy's. I think I only own one dress over $100, and that's my black concert gown for band. 3) I can't speak for Hadrien, but I'm not much of a movie enthusiast. I watch some movies with my friends and family, but that's at home. Movie theaters are too expensive and the nearest one is in Gold Lake. 4) The only remotely cliché part about Hadrien is that he has a bad boy image. He doesn't even smoke or drink or womanize. All he does is remain aloof, wear a leather jacket, and have a decent body. Obviously the envy of the school. Although I shouldn't really be hating, I'm the one who's had an inexplicable crush on him since eighth grade. An entry to The Kissing Booth Movie Contest. 500 words total

Drum set player Julia McCoy is not a typical marching band member. Forced to move across country and become a rookie as a junior, the newest tenor drummer deals with an intense Instructor, a cheerleader and the possibility of love in her own section. Told in engaging first person, Confessions of a Teenage Band Geek is not your typical YA story. Protagonist Julia McCoy's plans for an amazing junior year suddenly shift when her parents announce they are moving from SoCal to Atlanta, GA. Resilient and optimistic Julia launches herself into her new life and starts by joining the marching band. A talented drum set player, the blonde proves herself as an intense percussionist and is awarded a spot in the tenor section, a subsection of Westlake high school's competitive drumline. In addition, Julia joins a local rock band, Beans and Cornbread, and begins teaching drum set lessons. Events in the fast-paced novel work around band camp, Beans and Cornbread's first show, an 'impacting' first marching band competition, sneaky cheerleading exes and an exciting Homecoming week. 7 untamed teenagers, Cameron, Emilee, Zach, Dylan, Trace, Josh, Kelly these seven the dorkiest of dorks but they cared for their music like no other. You see, they are in band, room B-4 the reason I know this is because it's by the lunch room and I can hear the swift music coming from those doors. These seven if you get the chance to see them walking down the street or at the store buying plums then ask them about their story. Not their life story that might take your entire lifetime, I'm talking ask them the story of the Band Geeks I did and here it is to you.
