It's the year 2050, and the country that was once known as America has closed off all of its borders and has now been named Dema. The states as vanished, but now Dema is split into nine different sanctions, or provinces, each led by its own Bishop. The leader of Dema, Nicolas Bourbaki, or Nico as everyone calls him, runs Dema with the help of the bishops. His army, the niner's are the police force that enforces the strict rules that Nico has placed in the country. It was a harsh transition, but ever since Dema has been running smoothly. Nico created a band on popular culture. This includes music, art, movies, media, and much more. He created job assignments, so there was a regulation and who does what job, so the country can be successful. If you got chosen to be a creator, you were the one who gets to create the art or media, that can be listened to by the listeners. The listeners are what once were called celebrities, the top 1%. It's quiet in Dema without music and art, but this allows for focus on the jobs and the raises the success rate of Dema. But what happens when a banned creator starts his own secret rebellious group?

tyler asks you to be his girlfriend for one week and you reluctantly accept his offer.

{A Trench Story} "You stopped talking in your youth to protect yourself, didn't you? But don't forget that you are a Bandito now. You and your voice are safe now. Well, safe-ish." Mary "Mute Mary" Peters was well known in the city of Dema for being the youngest child to ever be brought to the city. The Bishops didn't want to bring the child into the city, but Mary's mother, a single mother, wasn't coming without her baby, so Mary got the rare experience of growing up inside the city's walls. Originally a vivacious child, Mary went mute at the age of six after a supposed Bandito sighting, and she spent the rest of her childhood unheard, out of sight, and generally out of mind. But when she sees that the Banditos are in Dema again, most likely for yet another rescue mission involving famed FPE Tyler Joseph, she silently joins their ranks and leaves the city with them. In Trench, Mary, now going by the name Charli, found all sorts of things she never thought possible: freedom, life, an abundance of the color yellow, an actual cheetah, and a vulture that could talk. Charli was safe to talk in Trench, but after so many years of silence, she found herself unable to, and so even once she became a Bandito, she stayed mostly to herself, although a single choice did give her the respected label of "Baldito". In spite of this, her muteness led her to be pretty alone, or as alone as someone in Trench can get. But things change when she meets Jenna, Tyler's wife, and suddenly, Charli isn't so alone. At least, until Tyler escapes Dema yet again and the Bishops come for him. Charli made a choice. When the Bishops came for Tyler, she instead exposed herself and let them take her back. If they couldn't get the FPE, they accepted getting the Dema Baby. And it was then as she was being dragged back to Dema with the cliffs of Trench surrounding her that she spoke for the first time in so many years.

Aimee had always been a citizen of Dema, trapped beneath the heavy veil of Vialism like everyone else. Though she never truly believed in the religion that dictated every aspect of their lives, defiance wasn't an option. In Dema, you either followed the rules or faced the consequences. So, like the rest, she kept her head down and went along with it-until everything changed. Whispers of rebellion stirred through the streets when Clancy, the legendary figure who had escaped Dema's grip time and again, began organizing an uprising. For the first time, Aimee saw a chance to fight back, to break free from the chains of Vialism and the Bishops' oppressive rule.

"salutations, i'm writing to say that Dema isn't a good place, i don't even know how i got here..." This story is about a 16 year old boy who had been taken to Dema, because he was a broken and lost soul, and with a little help from the other Bandito's he can escape the gloomy place that the Bishops run.
