Lucien has moved to live at the Manor house on the human lands with Vassa and Jurian. He has found a home and a life with his Band of Exiles, but at the cost of leaving his mate behind. Will he find a way to stoke the embers of the bond between him and Elain, or will he ignite flames of love with the firebird Queen he's sworn his loyalty to? Will Elain reveal what really happened to her in the cauldron and how she alone may control their fates? This is a story from the POV of Elain/Lucien/Vassa.
