Welcome! This is a collection of Inuyasha modern and alternate-universe one-shots. Every story is its own separate universe, so they don't follow a single timeline or connect to one another. While many stories take inspiration from the original anime's events, each one explores them in a different way, with its own plot, relationships, and ending. That means the ships can change from story to story, so don't expect them to stay the same! Most of these stories will center around Kagome because she's my favorite character (yes, I'm completely biased 😅). Also, some characters may act a little out of character to better fit each story's premise. I hope you enjoy reading these little alternate worlds as much as I enjoy writing them! (All art is not mine) (Also, not every scene is not in the original anime, just me squeezing in things)

Kagome is left in the pouring rain, alone, abandoned by her so called friends. Found and taken in by the Band of Seven, she soon discovers a deep need to protect the group, even going as far as to offer her abilities to the group in finding the shards and even fighting Inuyasha.

The Shichinintai didn't travel alone they had, what to any outsiders eye, servants. But to the mercenaries they were more than servants, they were part of their family and their loves. Back when the band of seven were alive they were still as fearless as they were dead. Bankotsu was asked by a Lord to kill a demon that was impersonating a goddess. He was warned of the demon's beauty and told to injure it, it would revile it's true self. But, when it came down to it, he too fell for her beauty, although she was nothing like he expected. She was brave, bold and hard headed. Bankotsu wasn't the only one in love, she too found him sweet and at times childish. So, he took her back to the band of seven with him and soon after she became one of them. Sadly, everything has to end, one day a lord sent them out as an advanced team. It was a trap, the local lords beheaded all of them, except her, being a demon, she could not be killed by the hands of a mortal. They sealed her powers away, making her body shut down, and go into a slumber like death. They threw her body into the deepest lake they could find and there she lay, until one day, someone breaks the seal.

When Kagome finally snaps ad can't take the abuse anymore she returns to the one place that she had always called home with her father and twin brother. Will they accept her back? and what is this about a gang war between the Taisho and the Kara? The question is what has changed in all the years Kagome Tanaka has been gone?
