The Shichinintai didn't travel alone they had, what to any outsiders eye, servants. But to the mercenaries they were more than servants, they were part of their family and their loves. Inuyasha has betrayed Kagome. He lead her to her death. But she was rescued by the most unlikely person. Some characters belong to Rumiko Takahashi. OCs belong to me. Rate M in later chapters.

Does Kagome really love Inuyasha? What will she do after her heart is broken one too many times? Who are her oldest friends? Sesshomaru, Bankotsu, Naraku or Koga, which one of these men will she choose? Sesshomaru a cold-hearted demon lord, who's only soft spot is for Rin. Bankotsu a mercenary of ancient times with a soft side and a dark frighting side. Naraku a half demon who all view as the evil villian. Koga a wolf demon who has already fallen for Kagome's beauty. But it's not what's on the outside, (the beauty, the wealth or fame) but what's on the inside (the heart, the mind or personality) that matters.

Kagome is left in the pouring rain, alone, abandoned by her so called friends. Found and taken in by the Band of Seven, she soon discovers a deep need to protect the group, even going as far as to offer her abilities to the group in finding the shards and even fighting Inuyasha.

Back when the band of seven were alive they were still as fearless as they were dead. Bankotsu was asked by a Lord to kill a demon that was impersonating a goddess. He was warned of the demon's beauty and told to injure it, it would revile it's true self. But, when it came down to it, he too fell for her beauty, although she was nothing like he expected. She was brave, bold and hard headed. Bankotsu wasn't the only one in love, she too found him sweet and at times childish. So, he took her back to the band of seven with him and soon after she became one of them. Sadly, everything has to end, one day a lord sent them out as an advanced team. It was a trap, the local lords beheaded all of them, except her, being a demon, she could not be killed by the hands of a mortal. They sealed her powers away, making her body shut down, and go into a slumber like death. They threw her body into the deepest lake they could find and there she lay, until one day, someone breaks the seal.
