SHONA is a bantu language spoken in Zimbabwe. It has mutually intelligible languages called: Ndau, Karanga, Manyika, Korekore, Zezuru,. It is believed to have been born from Tjikalanga, particularly Chikaranga. And it and it's native speakers share close relations with the Swahili, Kalanga, Venda, Nambya, Tonga etc. And has some similarities with other Bantu languages like Zulu, Chewa, Xhosa, Kirundi, Kinyarwanda even though they aren't mutually intelligible. It even has some similarities to Asian and Arabic & Hebrew languages.
